About the event
The National Council of Meridianites, Inc., evolved during the 1960s after several Meridianites reunited at the
funeral of a friend in Detroit. Because the friends had not seen each other in several years, they decided to plan
more fellowship gatherings in the future, which eventually became regular events. This marks the 55th
National Council of Meridian Convention and Picnic. This is the 11th Anniversary for Meridian as the host city.
We always look forward to returning home. It’s such a huge celebration of friends and family in Meridian.
